From 9 to 11 February 2024, moto-austria brought together all the big names in the two-wheeler industry for the annual fair in Wels. As every year, Faber was there with an impressive stand, all the latest models and a dedicated team.
Over the three days of the event, the assembled motorbike and scooter elite attracted a total of 55,437 visitors to the Wels exhibition centre. On the one hand, this meant a new visitor record and, on the other, showed that there is a great deal of interest in the subject and therefore also great potential to be tapped.
Faber was able to score points with the expert trade fair visitors with the current Vespa GTS models, some special conversions and the brand new Moto Guzzi Stelvio adventure tourer.
Karin Munk, Secretary General of Arge 2Rad, drew a positive conclusion at the end of the event: “Moto Austria is a perfectly organised trade fair that is characterised by an attractive mix of side events, shows and exhibition space. For motorbike and scooter fans, moto-austria offers everything you could wish for. Even after the period of “social distancing”, all single-track motorised vehicles have taken on a very special role and have finally established themselves as an important, indispensable, affordable and individual means of transport. The development is already well advanced, particularly in urban areas, and we also see a lot of potential in rural regions – for the journey to the railway station or to work, or as a replacement for the second car or simply for a nice trip at the weekend. Young people have become very aware of the issue of decarbonisation. Electromobility guarantees this target group a clear conscience and their individuality.”
From 7 to 9 February 2025, the domestic two-wheeler industry will once again come together in Wels for moto-austria.
